That makes EVERY enchantment USELESS, not only Mending.
Damn, 1/4 of ALL skills from ALL classes are USELESS. And since the update, the AoEoT spells are USELESS too, that makes 1/2 of ALL Skills USELESS.
And 95%++ of all skill are interruptable...wow Almost ALL skills are USELESS.
humm...I think you have a point.
You must play the game with no skills at all. oohhhhh, they may be stripped or interrupted.

sigh... this guy completely missed the whole point
ill go into further detail - 99% of the people who use mending are warriors, and warriors cant maintain a bunch of enchants like casters can (be it nrg pip or high nrg cost) so a warrior depending on enchants are gonna be screwed if you go into a mob that has necros and mesmers in it. the only time i can think to use mending is if you are farming melee mobs like war farmers do and the fast dissapearing 55 monk. enchants are not useless to characters that can pump out a few usefull cover enchants, mobs cant remove ALL of them, but a war using 1 or 2 of them will be stripped like theres no tomarrow
now to pvp - mending is even worse there, a warrior should not be wasting attribute points in healing and wasting skill bar slots with healing spells. do your team a favor and replace mending with (if your a wammo) veil or remove hex, healing breeze with purge condition or my fav purge signet, and healing hands with eviscerate/devastating/cleave/or offensive elite of your choice

Hummm... what I've been trying to say is: The build doesn't matter, what matters is the 'dying near the end' part.
And also this is Elona's Reach mission, not PvP and there are certenly not a lot of necros and mesmer on this mission. I maintained Mending the whole time.
So, if in a particular mission there's no enchant stripper mobs, why shouldn't I use the skill? And since I've cleared the whole map (maybe that's why I arrived late), I think that the use of mending did not compromized the mission.

Why this thread becomes a flame thread about mending?????
Opinions are different!!!Some ppl find that mending sucks and others find that it is good.
And please try to stay on-topic! This a thread thats about a litle bad luck and such things so stop flaming about mending.

Heres the bar to help you out:
orison
dwaynas kiss
heal other
heal seed
heal touch[for selfhealing]
heal party
Offering of Blood [elite]
-whichever res skill u prefer

im mosltly heal with some prot, and i think it works quite well in pve, if one monk goes down, i can use the prot skills i have to make my job a bit easier. my bar:
healing seed
prot spirit
aegis
word of healing[elite]
dwaynas kiss
healing touch(self heal)
breeze/heal other(im not going to argue about energy effecianacy, use whichever you like)

It made me sad.

Damn, I had a real class screenshot on my old PC, where me and a guilde were just taking a walk through the deserrt and a sndworm came up behind us. We ran all the way to some stone and just as my guilde was saying: "I'd like to see it come up through this stone!" It came out of the ground and killed a nearby collector. Then I got another shot of him saying: "Well he sure showed me". Pure class - I'll try and dig them out.

No worries... this isn't the first time B_boy has acted this way. It's some kind of sociological retardation he has. Someone posts something, he nitpicks at it in a rude, condiscending, or just plain @$$hole manner... then acts all defensive and self-righteous when someone calls him on his oral diarreah.
It's pretty predictable/normal B_boy behavior...

I was running to Dunes, everything was going well, I was getting the portal activated, when someone in the group comes running up, aggros a sand worm, pulls him onto me(of course). So I manage to get the teleporter going, but the worm has been kicking me around at will and I'm not going to be able to take another hit. I zone thru the teleporter thinking I'm safe. POW! The worm teleported with me, chomped me, and I died.
I wished I had made a screenshot of that, because oddly enough I was thinking of exactly that incident when I looked at the orignal posters screenshot. Same teleporter, same monster, just the other side.
I don't think I had ever seen a monster come thru a teleporter before that or since.
